Are we gonna keep on repeating our mistakes or bad habits? Or should we reflect upon it constructively and allow the experience to push us to further improvement?

Thanks for sharing the Malloch piece.dioanthonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07487235650546348138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859980134017818506.post-42855079650990577092010-09-02T02:35:21.162+08:002010-09-02T02:35:21.162+08:00wow noynoy got massacred in the post...on another ...wow noynoy got massacred in the post...on another note i should have proof read my first post before posting it...argh...
i've never been a fan of noynoy i think he rode solely on the laurels of his parents however i would've been a lot more accepting or forgiving if he really tried his best to resolve the situation even if he ended up failing...i digress... this post is about striving to be excellent and that is the point the struggle, we're not gonna be excellent all time and we're gonna make mistakes more often then not but that's not an excuse to just "exist"
"If you can't be the pine at the top of the hill,
Be a shrub in the valley below.
The best little scrub in the valley below,
Be a bush if you can't be a tree.
If you can't be a bush be a bit of the grass,
And some highway happier make
If you can't be a muskie, then just be a bass,
But be the liveiest bass in the Lake!
We can't all be captains, we've got to be crew,
There's something for all of us here.
There's big work to do and lesser to do,
And the task we must do is the near.
If you can't be a highway then just be a trail,
If you can't be the sun, be a star.
It isn't by size that you win or you fail,
Be the best of whatever you are."

- Douglas Malloch (Be the Best)blackstarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16887225589038114771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859980134017818506.post-55858296977104573232010-09-01T18:17:01.337+08:002010-09-01T18:17:01.337+08:00Chesco... ...Chesco... Thanks for your reply, bro. Well-said!

The truth does hurt, and I do feel guilty about it at times. Which is why I wrote this blog, which also serves as my personal reminder. Though easier said than done, I always try to do my best with my craft. Yet there are moments when I'm not feeling it or I'm not in the zone. But I'm still challenging myself to still be able to deliver, despite the odds.

Here's another interesting entry, this time from antipinoy.com. Please check it out --- http://antipinoy.com/noynoy-majormajor-booboo/ .

This line struck me the most --- "... a country known for low-standards, laziness, sloppiness, and making excuses..." When will we Filipinos correct our bad habits and traits?

Hence, I shared Van Halen's "Right Now" music video. We better not wait for future generations to correct our mistakes. We can make it happen right now.dioanthonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07487235650546348138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859980134017818506.post-42349142096765630062010-09-01T07:43:37.337+08:002010-09-01T07:43:37.337+08:00you nailed it Dio, i think the reason why mr wagne...you nailed it Dio, i think the reason why mr wagner got so much backlash is because the truth hurts
vince lombardi said desire will out do talent any day, filipinos are some of the most talented people on the face of earth. the problem is we "can" but more often than no we "won't" simply because we don't care enough.
i see it all the time, im even guilty of it sometimes, i think we a people need to remember that if you're not progressing you're regressing there's no standing still there's no middle road. the japanese have a word that that "Kai Zen" it's continual gradual progress
acceptance and acknowledgment are the first steps to fixing the problemblackstarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16887225589038114771noreply@blogger.com
